Chief executive officer & Founder
Gregg Smith
Gregg Smith is a founder and has served as our Chief Executive Officer and as a member of our Board of Directors since our inception in July 2019.
A visionary leader and serial entrepreneur, Gregg has a proven track record of transforming innovative ideas into successful public companies. Gregg co-founded Proximiti Technologies, Inc. and was also CEO of that Company at the time of its merger with Remote Care Partners. He also co-founded Z-Tel Technologies, Inc. in 1996 and Premiere Global Services Inc. in 1991. In aggregate, his companies have raised more than $500MM in funding during his tenures.
Prior to entering the communications industry, Mr. Smith began his career as a financial consultant for technology companies before becoming a banker with Chase and then Bank of America. Gregg is a graduate of the University of Virginia and resides in Tampa, Florida.

James Gledhill
James Gledhill is a founder and has served as our Chief Technology Officer since our inception.
James was CTO of Proximiti Technologies, Inc as of the date of its merger with our Company. Initially starting as a programmer, Mr. Gledhill has been involved in the communications and database management industries since 1985. James has served in senior roles related to developing and deploying innovative network architectures with Dialogic, ThruPoint, Ubiquity and Z-Tel Technologies. As a consultant he has also led significant development and implementation projects for GOGII and TextNow.
James attended Brigham Young University and resides in Center, Kentucky.

Fred Burris
Fred Burris joined the Company as Chief Financial Officer in September of 2021.
Over his career, Fred has served as CFO of several companies including Alta Construction Equipment Florida, LLC, FlaglerCE Holdings, LLC and GoSolutions, Inc. He has also served as an independent financial consultant. Fred is a licensed CPA and has previously served in increasing roles of responsibility with Darby, Sheahen, Weissman, Morgenster, Ferrel and Moses, Cooper and Lybrand LLP, Price Waterhouse and Company and Price Waterhouse Coopers LLP.
Fred holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida’s Fischer School of Accounting and resides in Tampa, Florida.

Andrew Kirk
Andrew has served as Chief Security Officer since our inception in 2019.
At the time of our merger with Proximiti Technologies in May of 2021, he jointly held the positions of Chief Security Officer and Chief Network Architect since joining the company in 2005. Andrew previously worked in the commercial and telecommunication network engineering fields in the both the US and abroad with increasing levels of responsibility at companies including Z-Tel Communications, CGI, Cotelligent, ICO Global Communications and Grindrod Shipping.
Andrew holds an undergraduate degree from the University of South Africa and an active CISSP membership with ISC2 since 2002. He has also received several industry engineering certifications including on Microsoft (MCSE), Novell (MCNE) and Cisco platforms.

Our board is comprised of seasoned healthcare executives with extensive experience leading innovation across the industry. They bring decades of expertise from prominent organizations that have shaped the modern healthcare landscape, including WebMD, Ardent Health Services and major hospital systems.

Buddy Ortale
Buddy Ortale is a principal of Sewanee Ventures, a private investment firm he founded in 1996, and is based in Nashville, TN. He began his post-M.B.A. career with Merrill Lynch’s Merchant Banking Group in New York in 1987. He was subsequently a founder and Managing Director of NationsBanc’s High Yield Bond Group.
He has served as the General Partner of numerous investment partnerships, and has been a principal as well as a board member for many private and public companies. Mr. Ortale is also the chairman of The Enliven Partnership (a healthcare services firm currently working with over 400 hospitals), a nonoperating financial partner in Armour, LLC, a board advisor to Western Express, and the CEO of a technology development firm (PNQR).
He received his B.A. from The University of the South in Sewanee, and his M.B.A. from Vanderbilt.

Rob Draughon
Rob Draughon is an accomplished executive who serves as CEO of Healthgrades Marketplace. Previously, he served as Healthgrades CEO since 2018 and President and/or CFO since 2012.
Prior to Healthgrades, Rob was at Press Ganey, a recognized leader in health care performance improvement, where he joined as Chief Financial Officer in 2009 and was named President and CFO in 2010.
Rob began his career in healthcare when he joined WebMD in 1998, where he was one of their first employees. At WebMD, Rob led all acquisitions in his role as CFO and Head of Business Development.
He graduated from Wake Forest University with a BA in economics and from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University with a master's in business administration.
